Eston Remembrance Committee

Preserving the memory of those from Eston who gave their lives in service.

Not Just A Name

Welcome to the Eston Remembrance Committee official website

The Committee is responsible for organising and delivering the annual Eston Remembrance Parade, but we are also involved with several community projects too. Click on one of our projects below to learn more, or find us on Facebook for all of the latest news and developments.

Lest We Forget

The Eston Remembrance Committee's primary objective, above all else, is to commemorate those who have fought and died for our freedoms in Great Britain.

Remembrance Garden

While the Eston War Memorial serves as the focal point for the annual Remembrance Parade, the Memorial Garden also serves as a year-round quiet space for the community to take a moment and remember those who have fought for their country.

Community Projects

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them.”

— Robert Laurence Binyon
